IN WISCONSIN

Lighthouse Docent

  • Aired: 04/21/2011
  • 09:01
  • Rating: TV-G
The Pottawatomie Lighthouse at the tip of Door County still stands as a beacon nearly 160 feet above the water's edge. The group "Friends of Rock Island" took this rundown lighthouse and turned it into a destination. In exchange for the free bed and breakfast, they provide tours and a history lesson about Wisconsin's oldest lighthouse.
