Bethany Woodson spent years preparing to join the Peace Corps. After graduating with a degree in economics, the day finally came to board a plane for another country and two years abroad. Now she is carrying her Wisconsin roots with her, living 4,000 miles away in the West African country of Burkina Faso, where she’s creating programs to encourage health, education and economic development.
