Wisconsin Joins Call For Constitutional Convention
The state legislature passed a resolution this week calling for a national convention to add a balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Wisconsin is, by some measures, the 28th of the 34 states needed to trigger a convention, a process not used since the Constitution's ratification in 1787. WPR's Shawn Johnson discusses how the vote came about, and what the implications may be.
